Mark Tobiasson | Safety Director

Mark Tobiasson is the Safety Director at Weitman Excavation. His 25+ years in excavation and underground construction give him a unique perspective on worker safety. He has worked as a laborer, equipment operator, foreman, superintendent, and general superintendent. This gives Mark a distinct advantage assisting in the planning and execution of fieldwork.

He is determined to promote an injury and incident free environment. He leads by example and promotes a learning atmosphere as an OSHA authorized trainer for the 10 and 30-hour courses. Advancing Weitman Excavation’s employee education program is Mark’s passion.

In his endeavors to protect workers and the general public, he works diligently to promote safety as a “core value”. He believes safety is not just something you talk about in meetings; it is something you use in everyday life.
